In many cases you will need to set a fixed period for any form of accommodation when relocating to Stockholm. Unfortunately, this can make it rather difficult to adapt to any quick changes to your plans, especially for longer rental contracts spanning several months. For this reason you should review the notice period, early termination terms, and what the possibility to extend looks like before you commit to a housing provider. Making sure you have a clear understanding of the associated terms can go a long way toward easing any potential stress or uncertainty if circumstances change suddenly.
As with many other long-term housing providers, Allihoop offers a 60-day notice period by default, which makes it easy to change your move-out date quickly and easily, as long as you are aware of it in advance. If you know at the time of signing your agreement that you may need to shorten your stay on short notice, you also have the option to reduce that notice period to 30 days rather than 60 in return for a small monthly administrative fee.
If you instead need to extend your stay, you can easily request to prolong it by contacting us directly. In most cases we are able to accommodate that kind of extension without issue, but we recommend that you let us know as quickly as possible to increase the chances that an extension can be done smoothly.
