Check when moving in

What should you check when moving in?

When moving into your new studio we recommend taking a moment to get settled in and make sure that everything is in order. This can help make sure that no issues are overlooked, and that you get the best possible start to your stay.

Existing issues – Make sure to document any issues or damages that are present when you move in, so that you can easily demonstrate that they were pre-existing and not a result of your stay. Send in a report with images and/or a written description of the issues as soon as possible, in order to ensure that they are noted. If an issue actively affects the use of the apartment or has a severe impact on the visual condition of the apartment, it should be reported through the proper channels and remedied by Allihoop as soon as possible.

Inventory – When you move in, you will receive a list with the full inventory of your studio. This list contains everything that should be present, and can act as a detailed checklist for you to ensure that no pieces of furniture or equipment have been overlooked. In case anything is missing or damaged, inform the Allihoop team to receive a replacement.

Community information & guidelines – You will receive a detailed Community Guide when moving in which contains important information about the community and your studio. We strongly recommend that you review the Community Guide thoroughly in order to have a clear understanding of important building features, shared facilities, and other practical information that will be useful to you during your stay.

Community introduction – While it is of course optional, we recommend sending a quick message in the “Introductions” channel on the Allihoop app. Letting the other community members know a bit about who you are and how long you’ll be staying at Allihoop lays a good foundation for making new connections and quickly making you a part of the community.
